Meet your Paper M.D.

No, I’m not an a-hole like Gregory House, but I will try my best to tell you like it is… about your paper, at least.  I may be a psychology major, but let’s just stick to your writing issues, k?  I started this business after assisting a son of one of my mother’s friends in editing a scholarship essay.  I loved giving advice (of the non-shrink kind) and offering positive criticism so much that I thought that this may just be my calling.  My philosophy is that anyone can answer an essay prompt in their head well, but it is just getting it from the noggin to the page that creates the issue.  The english language, it’s grammatical structure, and the crazy array of essay formats can make it downright intimidating when you sit down to write that paper.   My hope is that I can ease some of that stress and keep your writing on the path to success. 

To describe myself a little, I would say I am obsessed with writing as a form of communication.  I have always felt that I communicate better through my writing than, say, a phone conversation.  I’m one of those annoying people that will send you five e-mails before I break down and actually call you.  My obsession with written language not only makes me a freak, but seems to have also made me altruistic with my skills.  I love nothing more than helping others.  I currently work as a mentor to children with special needs.  My current goal is to transfer that love of assisting others in a more academic arena.
